Guys,

Just a quick push in the right direction, I'm Brit Mil already flown out there. I've pulled the yellow and black and i'm looking at the high risk/pay jobs. Any pointers towards the companies. Already know about blackwater/evergreen. Who else is worth getting in touch with?

Blackwater's training program is insanely intense, you must be atleast 3yr ex-millitary yet they still have somthing like a 95% drop out rate. They are a pretty good company, everything they do is security related and defense only. The media puts them in a bad light though. They don't raid houses or anything like that, they protect compounds, supply shipments bridges ect... and occasionally get in a skirmish doing so. Also their helicopters respond to hot situations, all too often they are the only ones that even bother to show up when somthing arises and help is called for.

Was that how it was during all your tours in Iraq/Afghanistan flying helicopters?

Does the Army respond to Blackwater calls? I though they (and all the paramilitary contractors, for that matter) were pretty much on their own. When I was doing MP we trained to respond if we ran across US Nationals in trouble, but the situation never came up.

I've never heard or seen Blackwater respond anywhere that I was, yet, I spend all my time responding to calls.

Hey guys....

Lets get something stright here.... I am currently a contrator in Iraq.... I can tell you stuff that not even in the news are shown... But thats not the point... I was medicaly retired from the US Army due to a combat wound...Currently I work all around Iraq and I know most of the security contractors... Despite of what the New's said.. Blackwater is and will still one of the best companies out here... and for our fellow Brit that ask the question at the begining... AEGIS is a Brit Security Company out here and is one of the best to like Blackwater.... People have to understand that news talk alot of "BS" but when you are in combat you dont have time to thing what is politicaly correct...you only want to get your men out of there alive and your self and protect your sector or defense position....

Whe I was hit by an RPG, ARMY and Blackwater were there all the time with me....

By the way... I dont work for either of the companies.... I am a System Engineer with ITT Federal Services...
