jimt Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 I passed my private checkride yesterday!!!!! It took me 12 months and 122 hours (former High Sierra student, had 8 different instuctors, and instruction in an R22, Schweitzer, and now a Bell47D1). It is a great feeling to know that I can have some fun flying and building hours now and I don't have to study the books so hard for a little bit. I am looking forward to the challenge of my commercial checkride. I would like to thank my instuctor Sean Smaker for his determination and long hours helping me get prepared for the checkride, and the owner of Gunner Aviation in Rancho Murietta,CA, Chester Peterson, for the opportunity to fly the Bell 47, and his kicks to the butt when I needed them. Thanks to everyone here for the nice bits of help/info on this forum,JimT Quote
