sactown77 Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 If you want to put your own personal mark on your headset, let me know. I charge $50 for custom art on DC head sets. PM me if youre interested. Quote
sactown77 Posted March 17, 2007 Author Posted March 17, 2007 here's another sample. I know there's a rightful place for advertising, and this is not the place, I just want to see if there is an interest. thanks Quote
blave Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Could you do a naked woman on a set of Lightspeed 15XLs? With palm trees and birds, of course. Quote
Witch Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Quite ze artiste, no? Looks kinda neat there Sac. The other picture reminds me of a palm lined street in Hollywood, or where ever that palm lined street in L.A. might be. Howabout a Heinekin logo? It's the same basic shape as the bottle label. Upon reflection though, I kinda like my headset the way they are. I don't know. I'm confused. Later Quote
AndrewT Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Could you do a naked woman on a set of Lightspeed 15XLs? With palm trees and birds, of course. I want naked women also...do you do helmets? Quote
sactown77 Posted March 17, 2007 Author Posted March 17, 2007 It's sharpie and clearcoat. I dont think i'd feel comfortable with a helmet untill I get my airbrush going. but i can do crazy things with a sharpie, and it looks great on DC sets. The clearcoat keeps the ink from oxidizing. Quote
PhotoFlyer Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 (edited) If I owned a DC I would definitely be interested. Alas, I fly Bose instead. I'll shoot you a PM when I upgrade to a helmet. I know there's a rightful place for advertising, and this is not the place, I just want to see if there is an interest. thanks Don't worry about that, everybody starts somewhere, and we allow some free advertising to help get businesses started. heligirl03 Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Nice! I like it. However, I could do without the naked lady everyone else seems interested in. Personally, I like your photo sample, with the tree! But what would I fly with out here on the West Coast while you've got my headset in NC?? hm. Maybe you can come up with some sort of "fake tattoo" process you can mail? heligirl03 Quote
FlyNHighNFast Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Hmmm... Local artist + working for the school I'll be attending + I own a DC headset = I'll be getting one, as soon as I can thing of something cool to put on it. Quote
Rachel Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 The DC's are a sorry sea-foam green, and I love black headsets; someday I wouldn't mind painting skulls on a pair of headsets. I just have to get some $$$ to buy a set. Quote
iflytandemrotor Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Sac, Great Art work. I think we should start a new string called, "funny things Sac could paint your headset to look like" My first funny thought would be a pair of balls. Quote

sactown77 Posted March 22, 2007 Author Posted March 22, 2007 (edited) Thanks for the feedback. DebosDave Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Sac, Couldn't you use a silver sharpie to write on the black headsets? I think that would look pretty cool Dave Quote
TheLorax Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 (edited) silver and gold maybe? there are all kinds of sharpie colors. Edited March 25, 2007 by TheLorax Quote
