I want to file a complaint about a helicopter that keeps flying between 500 and 1000 feet off the ground !!! ITS HORRIBLE ! Goldy Quote
brushfire21 Posted March 26, 2007 Author Posted March 26, 2007 Kinda reminds me of the thread(s) about heli-sking in other parts of our state, I think the environmentalist were making noise complaints on that onel? Now dragging LA PD into this as well..... Quote
zemogman Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 (edited) These videos are rather pointless...IMO (I'm I the only one that thought that???). No offense Brushfire21...I didn't read all of it...just some of the comments underneath. Either that...or I missed the point. "Look...a helicopter...it's following me...cooool..." ADRidge Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Yeah, god forbid a helicopter actually flies over someone's house at a safe and reasonable altitude. Quote
Gerhardt Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I watched only a minute or two of this video and shots were taken from different places so I'm not sure what he's getting at. As a helicopter pilot when I hear one I love to look up to watch it. I live in a neighborhood that is 15 miles from the nearest airport and for several months now we've had one fly over our house at 300-500 feet at 4 a.m. 4-5 days a week and it didn't take long for that to get old. Even at a safe altitude common courtesy would be to vary your route so that you don't needlessly irritate people. 1) not everyone likes helicopters as much as we do. 2) even if you like them sometimes there's too much of a good thing. FUSE Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Pretty sure this is the guy, or someone just like him that put those video's up... http://www.break.com/index/psychorogue.html Quote

Tottaly agree with fuse, I'm convinced that this is definetly the guy that posted these videos in the above thread. This guy is a great stand up comedian, I sure hope they catch that rogue helicopter pilot, This guy thinks the whole world is a conspiracy and all of the helicopters flying are out to get him. I'm sure glad we atleast identified the poster, since we cant pin down that rogue helicopter pilot.....] Quote

copter doctor Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Okay, is it just me or does all the audio sound like a Huey and the footage is a 500. They sound completely different. Quote
brushfire21 Posted March 27, 2007 Author Posted March 27, 2007 The videos are pointless and boring and I said that, but the adjoining text had the intersting stuff and most of you followed the instructions and read the fine print. Seems that a resident or two feels that a Mesa PD or LAPD aircraft are spying on people and using tax payers money to do pointless things. Kinda funny in my book on some levels, and I just wanted to see what others had to say about it or had any further information. Hope everyone has an excellent day. Quote
Azhigher Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Well, I live in Mesa and I can tell you first hand that the ghetto bird does it's job. I have first hand experience with this... as it has found me on occasion haha. Quote
