For all you Huey flyers, I post this link to help save your butt ( yes, that means you fat n lazy !!)

Apparently the quick disconnects have some issues..

I haven't flown a huey W/Quick disconects in years, everybody on this side of the industry knows this already and most of the huey operators have already made the changes. Old news!! But thanks for looking out for me.

Apparently its new news to the FAA, they just issued the safety notice today !

 

No problem watching out for you....I never know when I might need a job in Montana !!

this is way we had go/nogo gauges for these fittings, it had 2 ends to check the fittings, if the gauge slide into the portion of the fitting it failed and was changed out.

Common sense goes along ways, believe it or not sometimes the operators are a step or two ahead of the FAA when it comes to safety.
