verticalviking Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Seems like the Instructor I made agreement with is notholding his part of the deal. However the school I usedis not answaring my mails either last two days. However could be good reason for that, however I can't wait. The fact, we are paying ticket for you to norway (tourist class). We have a nice flat, and food for you.... and you will get a few bucks. Ths mission is: Give a low timer PPL (70 houers) his R44 endorsment.. 10 houers flying or more if needed.Myself (42 houers) have endorsment but want to refresh and learn more for aprox. 5 houers. The pickup and landing area.... is VERY confined! However actual training will be done other place.... You should be prepared to train us for confined areas and buildings landings. The wheather in norway is hard, and we are not stopping flying when it's raining.Or we will never flying :-( However let me state that we have respect for helciopters and flying !! We want you to come a.s.a.p. Please show us referances and your claims...Ofcourse valid papers must me shown before we booking! R44 with 11 houers on the hub is just waiting! Welcome to Norway for the right person! Quote

RotorWeed Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 OK, I have another stupid question. Why would someone flying an R-44 outside the United States need an R-44 endorsement? Quote
jehh Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 OK, I have another stupid question. Why would someone flying an R-44 outside the United States need an R-44 endorsement? Just a thought... If they need a FAA CFI, then this is probably a N-Reg R-44, and thus the SFAR 73 requirements apply. Quote
