College Degree

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Newbie to the heli forum so all the help is appreciated. I graduated from a 4 year university in Aerospace (Professional Pilot) degree and was wondering if a college degree will lessen the 1000 hr TT required by companies. In fixed wing they are cutting 100 to 200 hrs off if you do have a degree. A little background about me, I have been a firefighter for the past 7 years and am close to a Firescience degree as well. I am bored with firefighting and want a bigger challenge ( i.e. helicopter flying ). Currently looking for a school and any help would be appreciated.
