The helicopter that crashed was a Robinson 44 owned by the school I plan to go to (first shock for me), and the pilot was the woman who took me on my demo flight - the only time I have EVER been in a helicopter (much bigger shock). I actually remember many of the exact words this woman said to me, and how she explained the controls before we went up. It's a very weird feeling. Phillip Walling, the vice president, who made the statement to the news, is the main guy I have been talking to there. I know I don't know these people at all compared with their families and those who actually worked and took lessons with them, but as someone who is just getting started, it is sad to know that the person who gave you your first (and only) impression of helicopters is dead, and that they died doing exactly that. My heart goes out to everyone who knew them, and to everyone at Classic Helicopters, who are all such wonderful people. I am anxiously waiting to find out what caused the crash. If anyone hears anything, please let me know.

Holy sh*t. Keiko was also the first pilot I ever flew with...she did my demo ride just a few months ago. She was cool and confident and patient, and it's hard to internalize that she's gone. This is the first time that I've put a name and a face to a pilot who's died.

My heart goes out to them. What I have read about the pilot and those that have past on they are great

people plus pilots doing the job they love. One thing about pilots is that they love familys telling each other

they love each other at the end of each flight not at the beginning I am sure she tried everthing for that

to happen.

You too??? When she did mine, she had only been working for Classic for 6 months or so. You put my exact thoughts into words - very hard to accept, and I, too, have never put a face and name to a fallen pilot. It is humbling, and definitely brings home the danger that inevitably accompanies this career. If this tragic event makes even one new pilot like us use a little more caution, or double-check one more time, (not that she wouldn't have done that) and it saves a life (or more), perhaps some good will have come of it. I always thought she would be there when I started my lessons - maybe even be my instructor - I will never forget the things she taught me, just in that one brief flight. They will be the foundation for everything I learn from now on.

Same with me...this is the first pilot that I've put a name and a face to who is now gone! My brother took his first helicopter intro flight with her. Now she's gone! I just can't believe it! My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family and friends.

She was my instrument instructor for my commercial prep. My prayers go out to her freinds and family. She was a great instructor and I ended up getting my Instrument after my commercial with only 40 hours instrument time. She did a great job teaching me the foundations of instrument flight. It is crazy how many people have crashed lately. Please fly safe everyone.

Four dead in helo crash this morning. Not much news yet on the details.

I am deeply shocked and saddened by Keiko's loss. I only met her three weeks ago as I was chatting about flying with Scott and Philip at Classic Helicopter Corp follwing a brief flight that I took there.

I remember Philip introducing me to her and her humility, quite demeanour and friendlieness was instanlty noticable. I felt she was a very special person and one that I thought would be great fun to fly with.

I have lost several friends through flying accidents and incidents over the years and it always seems so random and shocking. My prayers are with her family, friends and all at Classic Helicopters.

God bless and stay safe.
