falcon Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Hi to all.I'm seeking your help to find the right gear. Let me explain. My company is doing low altitude photography of the ground (geolocation, maps, vegetation control...)We are currently shooting photos from a hole made in the belly of a helicopter. So we're stuck with that precise helicopter which is often used for other purpose and have to wait for it to be free. Plus the hole in the floor is small, we have a small size constraint. We're building a gyro stabilized rig, but it won't fit in the floor hole. We're looking for some kind of container that attach to the belly or the landing gear of the helicopter. That kind of gear will probably be easier to swap from one helicopter to an other. I know that in the film industry they use those expensive nose mount. That's way overkill for us. All we do is take photos looking straight down. We don't need the kind of flexibility those nose mount gives. Of course any container of the kind that's already been approved would help us even more. Any idea of what we should be looking for? Thanx for the help. Falcon. Quote
