I was practicing off airports and the sun started setting and it was so beautiful it was surreal... Sun setting behind snow covered mountains with clouds hanging over them, blue purple orange and red sky and the lake between us and the mountains...I can't do it justice. First time doing shoreline transition through LAX.. nothing quite like going 90kts ~70agl and having all the surfers wave at you (without overflying them of course) 2. Getting collective bounce in a UH-1H on an unaided night frost control flight.. never have I more willingly handed over the controls.
