Anyone fly in SC?

I'm asking for two reasons. One I'd like to at least fly in a heli at least once since it's a dream right now and that's my first step (I'd pay, of course).

And, two, there is a fire station (Conway Fire Station) right across the street from where I work and every so often a yellow heli lands and takes off. Many a day have I ran outside to see that (like some kid). Anyway seeing that was a big inspiration for me to fly helicopters and I wanted to meet that pilot just so I could get to know a heli pilot. By the way, I'm not a pilot yet. Just in the early planning stages.

Anyway, I'm having a great time getting to know you folks and am grateful for a place like this to talk to experienced pilots.

Go to Myrtle Beach, spend some cash go four a ride. Don't try to be a pilot. To many chp's can't find work as is. the 1000 hr's BS When we pull out of the war it will be even harder.
