I am compiling a list of factory approved R44 ferry pilots. If you are interested in doing ferry flights from the factory in Torrance, and meet Robinson's requirements (see: http://robinsonheli.com/pdf_files/ferrying.pdf) please email contact info.

Sorry... Don't ferry R44's. Just about everything else fixed wing and helicopter - Cubs to Challengers, and R22's to 204's. I hire somebody else besides myself when I need an R44 moved. Next time I do hire someone, should ride along so I can make the next ride. :P

Boy, I cant imagine taking an R22 across the Mojave and thermals, the R44 is one sweet ride, not to mention the 150mph in smooth air.

I'm available and I would like to be added to your list. I tried the link... it does not seem to work. Anyway, I will inquire personally when I attend the safety course in a few weeks. Thanks for the opportunity.

Try that link... It had a parethesis at the end, so it didn't work on the original post.

I have several friends who have made the TOA to SRQ and F45 in R22's and there tailbones are still throbbing. I just made the flight in and R44 Raven II last week from TOA to SRQ and it was uber comfortable. Had a headwind just about the whole way and still got in shorter time then a R22. I'll take a R44 any day.

I just did Hillsboro to San Francisco a few weeks ago in the R22. It was alot of fun, and I'd do it again in a heart beat. Once I fullfill my RHC Ferry Flight reqs, I'll be looking for some flights. I'm very interested in Ferry Flying, especially after my long x/c.
