LostHeliBoy Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 (edited) Is the password thing just an idiot trap .. or do other people who are trying to use this, as short cut the Hassle of doing the relivtivly easy paper work at the Med Examiners office ,Find the Password process Ridculus.. .. Is it a true time saver? Or just an easy and fast way for the FAA to find more descrepencies? SO why is the password SO hard I've been on line since it wa all just BBS and the internet was just a nerds realm.. BUT wants a password.. I've typed the same one that I used to get into the site.. and its just says.. NO... its not the same.. I just don;t get it! HELP I've called the help line and I'm sick of it I 'm just going to go and hand write it like I have for years.. Screw progress.. Gomer Pylot Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I don't understand your question. Quote
PhotoFlyer Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 https://medxpress.faa.gov/ Never used it, but if it works as well as IACRA then I feel your pain. Quote
kodoz Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I used MedXPress...except for having to be a contortionist to come up with the password, it was very easy (much smoother than IACRA). You might also need a user number--maybe that's what's screwing you up? but, once you get it done online, you forget about it--your AME (as long as he's familiar with MedXPress) will have it waiting for you. I think the best part will be the second time I go for a medical...all the info will be there and I'll just have to update it. But...their tech support appears to be one overwhelmed guy, so there'll definitely be a wait if you need to go thru him to reset your password. --c Quote
Gomer Pylot Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 It was straightforward for me. I had never heard of it, but I decided to register to test it. I just filled out the required information, got a link via email, and changed the password after logging in. That's the way many websites work. I saw nothing difficult about it. Quote
LostHeliBoy Posted September 23, 2007 Author Posted September 23, 2007 I guess I just have four big toes as far as Iraca and Medxpress and my philanges are concerned.. Glad eveyone else had better luck with the program.. I passed my medical like it was that hard... how can you study for a blood test? Thanks.. for the support? --LHB Quote
