Link Wouldn't the extra cost of helo training compare to fixed wing be a large limitation at "mid-life"? I don't want to discourage anybody, but I know a lot more people that have recreational fixed wing certs and I don't know anybody personally that has a recreational rotorcraft cert. I know there are a lot of people here talking about this career change... how are you coping with the cost? mechanic- how are you progressing? Good article. ;) ----------------Now playing: The Decemberists - The Crane Wife 1 and 2 Quote

Sparker Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I didn't know that there was a recreational helicopter certificate? Sorry- I think the minimum is Private pilots license.. uh... so I guess it make sense that I don't know anyone with a recreation helo cert. Quote
