I'd like to say HI to the recent Minnesota members that have joined lately.

I've noticed many member of this site are in the state or from it, and would like to put a state group together, maybe we can get group rates or something.

Hey November ya know I'm from the great state of Minnesota. Gotta feel fortunate for tommorrow morning's forecast of -25 F. Don't have to worry about getting bit by any mosquitos. It would be nice to put together a get together for us Minnesotans.

Keep me up to date. I'll be leaving the country for a year in Feb, but will be back after. I live in St Paul, but am originally from Hastings. I know there's another Mn flyer that at least reads this board. He's a CFI building R44 time. I'm a PP with about 130 hours TT taking my instrument checkout on Sunday, and Commercial a few weeks after that.

Let's all get together and fly somewhere. Maybe we could all fly to an airport that has a restaurant and go out for lunch or something. Somebody can ride with me. Although I haven't flown for o' about two months, so depending if you trust me or not. But hey how can you turn down a ride. Right? I could maybe pull some group rates. Just depending.

It's a '90 and though I've thought about selling it and using the money towards heli flight training, i think if i were to sell it, i dont see myself ever being able to buy another and biuld it to this level. It was a TT i converted it to a single turbo, last aug we dyno tuned it to ~750bhp (600whp) on 20psi of boost. I need to do finish upgrading the fuel system, then i'll try for the 750whp mark. As of right now this is the only thing im am licensed to fly (J/K)

I am planning on starting flight training by the end of Jan near where I work at St Cloud regional, so i can work my way through my private fixed wing, after i get my PPL i'll probebly transfer into heli's.

I just want to make sure that i wont be one of those people that spend a bagillion dollars for training and then decide i cant/dont want to do it anymore

As far as the meet goes (i realize this isnt much help) i'd be up for about anything at anytime.

The casino at Hinckley has a big clearing off the parking lot. My flight instructor, his wife and I landed there in a 44, and waited around for another 44 carrying some of their friends. We all went in, and had lunch at the buffet. The buffet was nice, and there was probably room for 4 or 5 44's to comfortably park.

I have personal leave at work that i'd be more than willing to use for this event. So anytime will work for me. If anyone is flying in from west of st cloud/little falls and wouldnt mind a hitchhiker, i would be up for helping out with cash, otherwise i'll just drive in and play ground crew.
