jkeltgen Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Good afternoon everyone! This is my first post on VerticalReference. I'm currently in the ground training phase @ Hummingbird Helicopters in Eden Prairie at FlyingCloud airport. I live in Mankato, MN and make the drive to FlyingCloud every Monday and Wednesday for my ground training. I've been reading and observing threads here for a couple weeks now and actually stumbled across this thread. I'm excited to hear of some fellow MN people to network with, and would certainly like to be involved in whatever ways possible. Again... I'm a newbie to the heli arena, but am eagerly learning the basics at the moment. I look forward to learning and hearing from people on here as well as in my classes. Quote
67november Posted May 21, 2008 Author Posted May 21, 2008 Welcome aboard, read this thread from the beginning and you'll find out what we've done, tried and looking to do. Quote
helo08 Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Welcome to the board. Hummingbird is a awesome school to train at; it is where i've done all my training. I'll be back up there as a lineman come early June. Name's Corey so you'll see me around or maybe we've already met and I just don't recognize the VR tag. Quote

I don't think I've met you just yet up @ Hummingbird though. If I recall correctly, there's a Corey thats just graduating high school. It was posted on the board in the hangar. That's the only Corey that I'm aware of though. Perhaps I'll see you around. There's some kind of festival that Hummingbird will be giving helicopter rides June 7th, that I volunteered for. According to Chris and Beverly, someone named Corey (could be you, could not be...) is dealing with the volunteers like me. Quote

67november Posted September 30, 2008 Author Posted September 30, 2008 (edited) HEY MINNESOTA MEMBERS!!! I'm looking to see if there is any interest in a fall meeting, anytime between now and the end of November as the work winds down and we start to settle in for our long winter nap, I think it would be great to catch up with everyone again and meet those who could not make the early spring meet. HOW BOUT IT????? Edited September 30, 2008 by 67november Quote
