mechanic
OK, break out your checkbooks. The Brantly factory has factory new B2B's onsale till 01/31/08. For just $150,000, you can own a NEW heli, complete w/ GPS. I wish my finances were a little bit better, I would get one. They are not the sexiest heli on the pad, but you can't beat the price for a new articulated heli. Just thought I would pass this on to any potential buyers....Looking.. Helo-Pilot
I have looked at them several times, for time building. My only real concern is re-sale, I would hate to buy one and have to sit on it for 4 years waiting for it to sell.

mechanic
How does it auto compared to a Robinson? Dom Click the Brantly info link, then click the flying tab, Flylow and RDRickster have some good threads about flying and auto's. I have yet to get into a Brantly. My flight time has only been in an R22. But, from several people I have talked to, makes me like RotorWeed, ready to try one out. mechanic
Hey RotorWeed,If you like the other video here is another, showing landing and declutch/stopping blades to let a passenger out, while the engine continues to run. Steve Chenoweth Video Can you imagine a flight school with the Brantly as the primary trainer and a Enstrom F28 or 280 for IFR and advanced commercial? The R22 and 300CBI are getting pretty expensive the last few years. Plus the Robbie factory school is months and months booked out in advance. Also, multi-bladed heli's seem to becoming the norm for many larger companies. These paint schemes are flattering for these airframes. The colors I like too.
