lonewolf172 Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Hi all. I don't know if someof you remember but I had asked if anyone knew if I could use an experimental, Safari or Rotorway, helicopter for in a private business such as aerial photography or crop dusting. I've tried sending the FAA an e-mail asking them the same question but they haven't replied so I've been reading rule FAR 91.319. If I understand this rule as long as you DON'T carry a passenger for hire and you're the only one flying it there doesn't seem to be any restrictions provided you're with the rules such as flying at night. Any comments Quote
Gomer Pylot Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 That's pretty much it. You can't carry passengers, and you don't have to have an aircraft certified in the normal category. It can be restricted or experimental for such uses. Quote
