Falko
Yesterday i realized, that when I pushed on the radio button, that my Auxi-fuel-gauge (R22 Beta 2) indicated more fuel ... once you let it go...its drops back. The next day I tried it in a different R22 Beta2...with the same result strange ?!?!?!

Honestly, never noticed it, but I will try it next time I am up in a B II. Goldy
BOATFIXERGUY
Sounds like a simple power problem. Since the R22 has minimum power available (I'm talking DC power), any large spike (as in transmitting) is going to cause a drop-off to other systems. Just like when you're thumping your 4 15" subs in your Neon. (not saying you have a neon, just a cool car) :-) Could be some other power issue like a short somewhere, but usually with limited power systems in piston powered aircraft, its the lack of available power. Witch
Egads! I have the opposite problem. I key the mic and I loose about 3 gallons in the tank. Thank goodness it comes back. I first noticed this about 8 months ago and told the GM about it. He told me that it was a power drain when transmitting. The radio draws a lot-o-power. I like ya'lls' problem better though. I could always use a few gallons of free gas. Later
lelebebbel
I've found that the outside air temperature drops a few degrees when using the PTT intercom on some R22s. Could this be the solution for global warming?
