the cheaper the paint, the less it lasts.. a good epoxy based semi-gloss or gloss well prepared will last awhile (maybe a month depending on how many hours your flying). nothing lasts forever!

Us also, the Imron lasted about 15\20 hours on leading edge with the 500s blade speed the paint comes off real quick even with the max amount of blade tape, at least we don't have to worry about the blades pealing due to lack of paint, someone suggested the paint used on plastic auto parts like spoilers that is flexible

first a wash primer (on metal blades)

 

then an epoxy primer

 

then 2 coats epoxy enamel finish (flat) no gloss except tip stripe on upper surface

 

then I use a touch up gun at every 25 hour inspection and dress the outer +/- 5 feet.... (very light)

The touch up has never created a problem with track/balance.

 

I'm not a big believer in any name brand... i've used them all with equal success.
