Yes..

They are known to lift 150lbs less than the factory blades. Honey comb construction as opposed to the factory blades which

have 22 ribs per blade.

Are you replacing your blades??

Got one of our blades (MD) with a suspicious mark\ Shadow in leading edge about 1ins . long 2ins. inboard of the strip, could be corrosion or start of crack, was picked up on annual when replacing blade tape

Got 1 new blade wont balance, the abrasion strip also stands proud of the blade am not impressed with the build.

Will be 2\3 months before blade people can get to ours so we thought get a new one and if old blade is repairable we can sell it refurbished with 1500 hours.

Total new blade weigh is heavier than the old blades as well, not surprising it wont balance AP wandering with a glazed look muttering dire threats.

And the 150lbs less how did they get them certified.

E mailed MD to ask a few questions, reply within 3 hours by their AOG guy requesting our phone No to discuss.

Good PR even if they cant help as blade is PMA, they also gave me HTC phone & contact name.

500....

Yes - tracking and balancing one PMA blade to four factory blades can be a challenge. What series are your MD blades?

If it were me, I'd track and balance the PMA blade as best you can then later re-install the repaired blade . I'd sell the HTC blade. Are you aware there will be new factory blades available soon?
