Daki08 Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 Hey I joined Applebee Aviation here in rainy Oregon and seem to have problems from square one. Very big lack of communication and I always flew out of his private hanger which he was not supposed to be doing and I was promised to fly out of the local larger airport that was more centralized. Now after not getting a new flight instructor after being a jerk to the last he fails to refund my money, which now forces me to file a lawsuit. This is also why I am writing this forum so that others can rant and rave about the other problems they have had with some the other schools out there, so please inform us about your experience. This is also why I am writing this forum so that others can rant and rave about the other problems they have had with some the other schools out there, so please inform us about your experience. When I was looking at getting my helicopter ratings, I talked with them as I was living in the area at the time. It took them almost a week to respond. Plus look at their ads on this website for time building during their utility work. Their primary business is utility work and they use flight training for extra cash and to fill in during the slow season. That was my tip off that they were not the school I wanted to associate with. Good luck. Quote
Goldy Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Lets not forget that this site has a separate section where people can rate their schools and speak of their experiences. Quote
