Been on PCH hundred of times and have never had a view like that of Malibu. Very nice pictures. Where does J. Lopez live anyways? I would like to take a demo flight. Might have to arrange something with Goldy or someone in my area someday. ;)

Oh now, those are secrets we like to keep.

Actually I was out over that same route today..typical May/June haze..While manuevering so I wouldnt get blasted by a B17 turbulence....yes we had a B 17 in the airspace giving rides...I spotted a house fire in one of the canyons that had just started. Kinda cool to call in a Sheriffs ship and direct them over to it.

Those are nice I espcially like the pic where your flying to the coast. That looks like a good computer backgroud pic~

Thanks for sharing

Lil mountain flying there....its actually Topanga Canyon, top left of the screen is Santa Monica Beach. Had a great time showing Marlon the finer points of Los Angeles. You should ask him to post the pix of Playboy mansion...well then again, this is a G rated website.

Awesome pictures. In a lot of ways I miss flying there. Thanks for the memories.

Goldy, glad to see you avoided the B 17, they come into LGB every year doing the rides. I kinda pissed the pilot off last year while landing. I did everything I could to keep the downwash to a minimum but he still wasn't happy. The FBO parked them with in 50' of our helipads.

The fire season is upon us. While flying several years ago I spotted a fire in San Diego. It had just started. I made a call to SEE tower where the County Sheriff helicopters are based at. With in minutes I saw them on scene putting the fire out. Don't hesitate if you see something guys, call it in!

Post more pics if you can, those were great!

Where are the pics from the house fire? Priorities Goldy!!!!!

Yeah, I know. The house fire was a couple days after this flight so no pix's ! It was up in a Hollywood Hills canyon though so the whole world responded. As I was landing at VNY about 6 minutes later....the LA City Fire ship and 2 ENG ships were taking off for the location. I caught it pretty early though, the 2 other guys in the bird couldnt see it, so I flew over and you could see the smoke coming out of the attic vents.

Just too bad I wasnt flying anything with 350 gallons of water on board !

Ok, ok... I usually don't post pics when I forget to suck in the gut, but I'll make an exception in this case.

I love the fact that Patrick is standing on the skids so he looks a lil taller ! I guess 6-5 is intimidating !

Great shots. Thanks again Marlon.
