I am spraying crops with a Bell-47, in Wisconsin, but don't live here. Short season, may-aug. then go to southeast U.S. and spray timber tracks till mid nov. w/bell oh-58. Live out of suit case for 7 months. Work of the top of platform trucks, sometimes 80-100 takeoffs and landings a day. Seasons start out slow like now and nice to have other pelots to talk to won't be long though and there won't be many post, my hand will be black from the cyclic and back hurttin from 16 hr. days. This is for for me though, to lazy to work, to nervous to steal.

How many hours did you have in helo's before you started flying AG?

How many hours did you have in helo's before you started flying AG?

I had 150 hrs. total time, 100 fixedwing, 50 helo. I mixed chemicals as a loader/mixer before I started spraying, and grew up around the spray business, and that really was a good back ground for getting started. Most ag companys require low time pilots to load/mix before they will put you in a helo.
