wannabe87 Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Can anyone tell me about their program? What do you think of Glacier Aviation? Quote
yzchopper Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I do not know much about their program but I have talked to Mike the owner and he is very knowledgable and willing to answer any questions you may have. I may be going there sometime this spring to check them out. I would like to get my CFII from them. Mike tells me his CFII is a top notch instructor. He used to be an Apache CFI. Good luck Steve Quote
heligirl03 Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Although I have no personal experience with them other than on the ramp, I know several people who have gone there for some rating or another and have only good things to say. However, the company I work for in Seattle does lease them their aircraft so I know the mx is top notch (we do it all in-house). As for a CFII rating, they lease one of our R22 instrument trainers if you're looking to control cost! Quote
helijay Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Mike is a great guy. I did my instrument and my CFII there. Thought the instruction was great. Great location and you get to do PAR's into grey army airfield. I thought that was cool. Quote
wannabe87 Posted January 2, 2010 Author Posted January 2, 2010 Hey thanks for the replies! I have also viewed some old posts about them as well. It seems that there are only good things to say about them. Does anyone know about their job placement? What are some of the negatives of the school? Quote
