OneCoqui Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 I would like to share my positive experience with my colleagues about the Universal Air Academy located at La Verne, California. The school is located in the Los Angeles basin 30 miles east from the City of Los Angeles. They're a 141 school with both fixed wing and rotary wing (R22, R44, B206). They are a smaller branch of UAA located at El Monte (KMET). Students enrolled at the school come from all over the world (i.e.; Korea, Egypt, Japan, Mexico, Columbia and The Caribbean). It was a fun group! Mr. Bryan Robinson, Sr. is the owner/chief pilot of the helicopter branch at KPOC. Along with his son, Bryan Jr., they run a fine helicopter training curriculum dedicated to aspiring students, initial CFI candidates and veteran pilots who are seeking to brush up their aviator skills. I started my training on 8/2 and received my CFI certification on 8/17. UAA is a great school! Thank you Bryan! Ray Peña, CFI 1 Quote
