5606 Posted April 10, 2014 Report Share Posted April 10, 2014 Hey folks...new to the forum here but longtime lurker. What are most insurance companies requiring for R-44 owners flying part 91? I've scoured the search function on these forums and Google but haven't come up with much. My employer is thinking about adding an R-44 to the fleet, and wanted me to gather some numbers for him. I know I should call a broker and see but I thought I'd post here first, as this is in the very early stage. It'd just be flying the owner and maybe another couple of employees, but all part 91. Longest trip would be 150 miles radius with most areas being in the 50-60 mile radius. I fly a stuckwing for him but minimal flingwing time...100 hours or so in a 300 but commercial instrument rotor.
