Rescue pickup

I am looking for any information on where to find a to hire service or whatever to pick up a person that has a serious hand injury 500 miles E of St Lucia. He is in the ARC race that is going on now. Coast Gaurd says no can do pickup cause it is not a death situation even though he can loose his hand.

 

So, any ideas on who to hire down in that area that could do a rescue job like that?

I was able to get them picked up by a faster moving boat and then they will be picked up by air.
