TailWind Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Anyone here a former or current student or instructor at Hillsboro Aviation in Oregon? How is the quality of training. How about availability of A/C's for training, ever have to wait or not train on a given day due to scheduling issues? What is the student to ship ratio? How about the student to instructor ratio? How is their hiring rate- ie do most of the qualified students get jobs there after training if they want one? What about the safety record? How is the atmosphere- positive? How often is your flight plan scrapped due to weather issues? As an instructor do you have plenty of work? How well do they pay instructors? Any input regarding this school would be appreaciated as I am considering training with this school and have not heard much about them on this forum. Feel free to send a personal message if you have comments that might be best kept private... Thank you... Quote
