Guest Guest_mclb_* Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 You can check out www.myaviationschool.com for school listings around that area. Quote
Bravo.Zulu Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 You may also check out Precision Flight Training, Inc. five miles west of Newberg, OR. www.flyprecision.com I myself am checking out flight schools in the area. I went over there right at closing time and caught the Director of Flight School just as he was leaving for the day. Nevertheless, he was kind enough to spend the next hour answering any question I asked. He even showed me a few aircraft in the barn. If the rest of his instructors are even half as good as he is, you're in good hands. I've been advised to do careful background checks of schools. Not just what they say they do, but what is their reputation in the industry. I have to say, I'm very impressed so far. Not only that, but if you live near Hillsboro, these guys are only about 25 mins away. I think it's worth a visit before you make a final decision. Quote

bellpilot Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Good school to go to is Hillboro Aviation. However if you enjoy great weather and a smaller school try Leading Edge Aviation in Bend, Oregon. They are also affiliated with Central Oregon Community College. Web Site: leadingedgeavn.com Quote
