Helicopters in Scotland

I go to Scotland this summer holiday and I want to make some nice pictures of Scottish helicopters there. I have allready made an appointmant at the Glasgow City Heliport to visit the ambulance- and police helicopter and I want to go to Glasgow Prestwick Airport to. I'll stay near perth in the first 2 weeks of august. Does anyone know some places where I can go to make some good pictures of helicopter or even a place where it's really worth it to make a flight in a helicopter?

Hi scoutcopter,

i cant really help much as i'm from the north east of scotland,aberdeen airport is the busiest for helicopter flights in europe,mainly due to the offshore industry,scotia,bond and bristows operate there. as for taking a flight,there's no actual helicopter flight school at the airport would you believe? but if you go to the hjs helicopters website, you can take a flight tour of the north east of scotland,it's cold up here but it's a very beautiful part of the world.
