Eye Sight and flying

What are the restrictions if you have to wear contacts or glasses in order to achieve 20/20 vision. I'm not sure if I need them, I'm going to get an exam soon, but it's hard for me to read small text with my right eye. My left eye is crisp and clear. I can see objects and people fine, but if it's pretty small print like the size I'm typing now, the words get blurred when I cover my left eye.

Go straight to the source. FAR Part 67, Medical Standards. It depends on the class of medical you're applying for, and it's all there.

Looks like It's fine to wear them, you can still obtain the medicals if you wear corrective lenses.
