delorean Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Alternator is cooled by a blast air off the cooling fan (about a 1" diameter hose that fits onto the back of the alternator). It also has it's own cooling fan between the unit and pulley just like any other alternator of course. You'll get the most distance out of it @ 100 kts; the most flight time @ 55 knots. Figure around 14 gph...... Quote
