icqa Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 I'm about to being my flight training and have been thinking about my daily training schedule and what would be realistic. I'm considering about 4 hours a day, 2 ground and 2 flying, 4-5 days a week. Not including at home studying. I work part time so to me this sounds doable and should be able to get to CFII in about 6 months or so. Is this realistic? Quote
rotorwish Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 No....Early on it can be overwhelming. Flight and ground. 1 hour of flying with appropriate ground and then study on your own will make for a 4-5 hour day. I did it full time and it took 9 months. Quote
