Bear19 Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Looking to get a job in the Gulf any suggestions on makeing my resume stand out from all the others that are sent in? Should I also call the companies and talk to them directly? Thanks,Jason Quote
crashresidue Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Cheers, Sorry it's taking so long for anybody to respond. Make your resume short and to the point! After 14,000 hrs - my resume is one page long. It lists the a/c I've flow with hours logged. In a column. After that, I do the "verbage" - who I am, as a pilot, what I want and what I expect from them. It also lists the companies I've flown for, with phone numbers. That's all! If you want to stand out - don't go the "professional resume" route - it just marks you as a "wanna be". Hope this helps. Gentle winds,cr Quote
