Both pilots got out without many scratches, same can't be said for the R22. Apparently this was up in Bend, Oregon, where several VR members fly...glad all are ok. Anyone with more info?

Sorry dude, but I tend to not do the news thing, so I haven't heard about it.

 

I'm about a hundred miles west of Bend in a small, sleepy logging town called Eugene. So far no aircraft crashes here or at Corvallis.

 

I think I corresponded with the owner of Leading Edge some time back.

The pilots are both fine, spoke with one of their instructors. The Chief pilot and an instructor were doing company training when an auto went bad, appearantly. Not sure on any specifics, just heard that it was a hard landing and not generally as bad as it looks to be...? Everyone is okay, all that really matters.
