Azhigher Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 So I was looking around on Brian Hudson's pay scale charts and I've been wondering about the steps found under PHI's pay scalehttp://brian.hudson.home.mchsi.com/helopay...yscales/phi.htm How are the steps determined and how would one advance through them? Is it indicative of years of employment with the company or does it depend on the type of aircraft, i.e. Lights, mids and heavies? Just thought someone could shed some light on this for me. Thanks! Gomer Pylot Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 Years of employment, until you become a medium PIC, then it goes to a different scale, but still goes by years of employment. As a medium SIC, you get an extra amount per month, used to be $300. Quote
Azhigher Posted August 22, 2007 Author Report Posted August 22, 2007 Awesome, thanks for the speedy reply. Guess that clears it up for me =) Quote
76driver Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 now it's a whopping $114 a month extra for medium SIC. if you could get experience elsewhere and then come into PHI as a contract pilot, you can easily make six figures a year. you'd be sans benefits and 401k. but geez... you could afford it on your own!
