Hey y'all,

This is my first posting, and I'm sorry if it's a repeated topic (I tried the search engine but couldn't find what I was looking for). So here's what's up:

I'm working on my CFI here in Texas and anticipating finishing both that and the II before the end of the year. I would love to find a job that will allow me to stay where I am, but I realize the chances are pretty slim, and I will probably have to relocate. So I was thinking about that, and it ocurred to me that (now that I'm a nearly half-grown pilot), it might be possible to find work outside of the states.

So here's my question(s):

How much additional training do I need to work in the EU? Or Canada? Or Australia? Is this even a viable option (everyone seems to come here to train from overseas, I don't hear about many people going the other way)?

And if these answers are too involved, where should I start my research? Is there some other thread on this site that already answers my questions? Any advice on where to start looking (and, I guess, whether to start looking) would be much appreciated.

Thanks to all,

romanweel

I kn ow about going to Canada...but the reason everyone else is coming over there for training is because it's dirt cheap compared to the prices in the other countries!!
