MTnfly Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 For a long time, I've been thinking about getting a professional license. I just finished up a ecology program at the University of Montana, and all I really want to do is go back to school and fly. I wanted to get some feedback from people that have experienced that job competition during and after flight school. Furthermore, neing in Montana, the flight programs are rather limited, so Applebee aviation in Oregon has been a strong recommendation by other pilots in my area. What do you think? Thanks. Quote
smartymarty Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 A good friend of mine is a high time pilot. He says the job prospects are pretty good right now. For me, being a student still, I know I'm jst going to be a CFI when I get my CFI ticket, and that's fine, because it allows me to build up hours. I'm not deluded about my prospects... I know there's going to be a lot of competition for job by the time I have 1000 hours. I'll just have to apply myself. And dress nicely for interviews. Quote
