Too old?

I'm 53 years old, good health and considering a career change. Am I too old to start over as a commercial helicopter pilot?

In my humble opinion...yes, unless you are already a fairly experienced airplane pilot you are probably too old to start a career as a commercial helicopter pilot.

Sorry. But you can always get your P.P.L., and fly helicopters for pleasure.

Depends on your goals and what you expect.

 

If you're planning on a 20 year career, the odds are not great... If a 10 year career would make you happy, then no you're not too old.
