If you look at the posts pinned at the top of this forum, you'll see one about accredited colleges with helo pilot programs. I'm pretty sure most if not all of the schools listed in there require you submit a FAFSA.

does anyone know of any flight schools fixed wing or helo that accept fafsa

The FAFSA is required for you to receive any Title IV student aid from the government - ie. government 'sponsored' student loan programs. The FAFSA asks for a school code - this code allows the school to automatically receive the information from your FAFSA - most people list every school they are considering but don't worry - you can always get your information sent to whatever school you want after you file it initially. Aside from the school code, the FAFSA is NOT school specific - your school can help you check on the status of your FAFSA thru their systems but it is the federal govt. that requires/accepts your FAFSA.

It boils down to this....if the school/college/university you apply to has true student loans (not private loans) you will be required to file a FAFSA before you can get any aid but you don't have to submit seperate FAFSAs for each school - you submit one to the fed. govt. and that's all.

My wife is a director of financial aid at a college so if you have any questions - feel free to ask/pm me.
