Hi,

I'm a fixed wing pilot flying in AK. I love fixed wing but would really like to get into helicopters. I'd like to do my training in AK if possible, anyone have any experience with alyeska helicopters? How does a fixed wing guy go about building hrs without paying for the 200 hrs or so they wanna see in helicopters?

Cheers

I don't think there really is any other way. The 200 hours will only get you an instructing gig. You really need around 1000 hours to get a job flying helicopters commercially.
