<Pilot
I bought a used helmet. Visually it's a SPH, but how can I tell if it's a 4 or 5? What about the size - is there standard internal or external measurements that will tell me?
avbug
Depending on who made the helmet, you will generally find size and information behind the earcups and beneath whatever liner is installed, or at the rear of the helmet behind the liner. While most SPH series helmets are Gentex or made from Gentex components, not all are, and various vendors or companies manufacture the helmets. Francis Meyrick
Oh! I thought you meant "identifying" the "identity" of the head contained in said helmet. I was thinking decals. Stickers. To wit: "NO FEAR", for instance... identifies... a person with an advanced lack of understanding of the terminal nature of aberrant flight conditions potentially encountered whilst exercising the privileges of his or her unnatural departure from Terra Firma based on the innocent assumption of repetitive normalistic returning thereto. I'm sure Aeroscuttle can add/clarify to said identification. Hope this helps. Uh-huh.
