Helmets in training?

Seeing more and more videos these days of guys wearing helmets in 22's, 44's, and this tiny two-seat trainer.

,..did you wear one in training?

Yep-  Fort Wolters, and not again until Rocky Mountain Helicopters issued Gallets in, what?  2003?  There are definite advantages and disadvantages to helmets.  Training should be in helmets, compulsory for instructors.  The instructional flight is the CFI's JOB, the student's option.

 

Students should wear them as well.  It's the best $500- $3000 you'll ever spend on equipment.  Way, way more important than flight suits.
