Ross85 Posted September 4, 2008 Report Share Posted September 4, 2008 I got to go on a really interesting flight today. Unfortunately it was for someones funeral. He was an old time helicopter pilot as well as many other things. Me and my boss did a flyby of the funeral in my boss' Bell 47. It was the same make and model that the pilot had flown. After that we landed in the parking lot of the church so that the family and friends could come to look at it. The family was so appreciative that we could do this for them and it really meant a lot to them. This is something that you will only find in the helicopter industry. It is such a small industry that everyone is connected. The pilot who passed away seemed like a very good person and I'm glad I was able to do the flight for him and the family.
