Eric Hunt Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 An instructor on another forum has the same problem as i do - where can I find a good solid model of a Jet Ranger for classroom demos of training sequences? Plastic kits are too delicate, they break too easily. Wood and resin models are more for display and are very expensive. What do you people use? Quote
Whistlerpilot Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I bought a 1:34 diecast Jet Ranger painted in LA Fire Dept colours for under $20. CAD Had searched every toy store and finally found exactly what I was looking for at Aviation World. http://www.aviationworld.net/categories.asp?cID=1107 They don't have a picture of it online, but trust me it's the one you want. rick1128 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Go to www.helicoptersonly.com. They have several different die cast models including the 206 at reasonable prices. Quote
BOATFIXERGUY Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Also look at eBay. You can find tons of them on there for under $15. Here's a link to one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Cleveland-Indians-Big-...%3A1%7C294%3A50 It's the White Rose Collectibles versions that you see everywhere. Quote
