wintz171 Posted April 16, 2009 Report Share Posted April 16, 2009 I'm a recent CFII graduate and have been applying to flight schools and utility companies alike. I've read through all the posts I could find here on SIC positions, advantages, disadvantages, whatever. I don't have anything against instructing and have sent resumes and talked to a number of flight schools but nothing has come through. Ide like to get some experience in the utility sector now, as I don't have any kids, family, or anything else holding me back from spending a fire season or year just getting an inside look.
