thenewarea51 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I was looking at flight schools in Las Vegas flying 300's... I have found Vegas Air Service at Boulder City and Airwork LLC at North Las Vegas. Has anyone been to either school? If so, any likes or dislikes? Thanks, TNA51 Quote
mbinner Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I'm an instructor that has worked with Airwork getting checked out in the Schweizer (I learned in the Robbie), and instrument instructing in it. Now I fly the Grand Canyon Tours in the Astar. They have knowledgeable instructors. In fact, they have one of my old student's instructing there now, Patrick. He was my "best stick" as a student and turned out to be a great CFI. I don't have any personal experience with Vegas Air Service, but the feedback I have received tells me you would be better off going with Airwork. Matt Quote
