Just a few questions for all tour pilots flying the ditch. 1. Those of you based at Grand Canyon Airport, do any of you live nearby and not commute weekly? (Flagstaff, AZ) or is that not possible? 2. Those that do commute, what airport do you use?3. Do new hires typically get assigned Grand Canyon Airport over Vegas and Boulder City bases?4. When does majority of hiring occur? (I've heard winter to spring, but seen postings in late fall)5. For the companies requiring turbine time, does fixed wing turbine time count? Thanks guys for your input!
