yzchopper Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I know of a guy that is looking to start a flight school and maintenance shop in SE WA using the R22. He wants me to instruct for him but needs to know how many would be interested and willing before he commits. (He is checking the market and building his business plan as we speak) He is thinking part 61 to start for the training, then maybe adding an FBO, R44, and part 135 ops 3-12months down the road. I'm not sure on the rates but I think he is leaning towards the $240-250/hr dual but don't quote me on that. Could be more could be less. If you would be interested in training or building time send me a PM. Thanks Steve Quote
67november Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 He'd be better off opening the FBO portion first and establishing a customer base before starting the flight school portion. Quote
yzchopper Posted February 10, 2010 Author Posted February 10, 2010 He is looking into starting it all at once just needs to finish some paperwork. May even end up doing airplane training. Quote

Gary DeWitt Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I might be interested in finishing my commercial. I'm at ELN, which is a 40 minute flight for me to PSC. That's a lot closer than anyplace else. Quote
